This is Akarui Noson 44. A very special Shouchu. Akarui Noson is a quite popular and good Shouchu Brand with 25% alcohol level. This bottle has 44%, so almost double the alcohol, so you drink it in much lower quantities more like whiskey or scotch.
The smell if just mind blowing, a very mild, a bit fruity smell, absolutely now strong imo (sweet potato) smell you normally have with imo shouchu.
And this amazing smell is perfect for the wonderful taste of this alcohol, quite strong, but a wonderful taste I have never ever tasted before.
My recommendation is to drink it in a small glass with a wide bottom and a smaller opening with one ice cube. This is the perfect combination for this alcohol.
